Open Question: 10/100mbps and 100/1000mbps distrub in local network?

I have 2 servers 1 is ibm 2 is hp blades servers these servers are running on win-2003 32bit ,64 bit operating systems respectivly. our local network is connected to 10/100 switches. HP blades server is having the 100/1000 mbps nic cards. when i connect from HP blade server to local network connection will loss the ibm server to our local network. is there any problem for 10/100mbps and 100/1000mbps
